In the case of dependencies, an external relationship is defined by the primary key of a table in the master data relation to a table with transaction data. In the example, dependencies are created for Table 27 - Item.
In the first line, the No. from Table 27 - Item was placed depending on the field Alternative Item No. of Table 27 - Item.
In order to ensure the correct dependency of field 1 - No. from table 27 - Item to field 6 - No. of table 37 - Sales Line, an additional line was added which defines field 5 - Type with the constant = 2 (item). This is necessary because field 6 - No. of table 37 - Sales Line can also contain other values (e.g. a resource number).
The effect of this definition is that no item that appears in the sales line table can be deleted. This only applies to source or target comapnies of the master data relation for the item.
